
Blue green algae or Aphanizomenon flos-aquae (AFA) is an edible fresh water plant that has been called "the invisible flower of the water."
It develops its potent nutrient structure in the wild, pristine, alkaline waters of Klamath Lake, Oregon where it is grown and harvested.
Klamath lake is part of the mineral rich "ring of fire", collecting 50,000 tons of dense silt deposits from the surrounding volcanic landscape basin, making it one of the most nutrient thick waters in the world.
