Lemon Bar Recipe,
Superfood Recipe For Lemon Bars!

This lemon bar recipe is great to have on hand when you want a quick snack that is a tart, chewy sweet treat, in addition to a energy dense food.

This recipe does not include the traditional powdered white sugar, butter and white flour. No thanks, it is time to upgrade the recipe for lemon bars. Because we here at superfoods~for~superhealth want to feel GOOD from the food we eat, not sick, fat, and tired. No offense, old fashioned lemon bar recipes had there place in history, its just time to move on, don't you think?

The traditional lemon bar is not really a "bar", they are more like soft custard cakes. Our lemon bar recipe is actually a bar. It travels well and can be a great "on the go" snack treat.

Like with many of our dessert recipes, eating better (or way better) doesn't mean you have to give up taste. Yeah sure, if your use to eating heavy, rich, baked desserts and confections, you might need to get your tastes buds back on track and remember what real food tastes like again. But, once you do, you can start enjoying the simple pleasures of natural sweeteners, nut and seed flours, and other top superfoods.

We use maca root, bee pollen and the Ayurvedic herb, ashwaganda, to give this protein snack a rise above the average lemon bar. These 3 superfoods are a perfect blend of super nutrition, with sweet and sour taste qualities that make this a superfood snack a hit!

Warning: You might get addicted to these, they are soooo good. In fact, you might not be able to stop eating them. We recommend eating two max and waiting for 20 minutes. By then, they will fill you up with nutrition and energy, you won't crave more!

Lemon Bar Recipe:

Blend the following into a "flour":
