Nut Milk Recipes:

Make Your Own Herbal Nut Milks!

Make your own nut milk recipes using our favorite concoctions that will not only give you energy and mental alertness, but will envelop your senses in a bouquet of flavor and scent.

Nut "mylks", as we call them, are a form of herbal tea alchemy that takes tea making to the next level, combining some of our loved Chinese herbs Ayurvedic herbs, and herbal stimulants with the richness of nuts and seeds.

These will truly be the best milks you have ever tasted!!



















Try these artfully crafted milks that marry the nutrient, nourishing properties of herbal tea recipes and the best of those herbs and spices into one creamy, rich drink.

Use them to make our an elixir shake recipe and continue to expand on themes by adding any of the top 10 superfoods and medicinal mushrooms.

Or pour these cold milks over our raw granola recipe for a tasty snack or breakfast!!

Make up your own chocolate milk recipe or use ours!

Nut Milk Recipes:

Lavender Hazelnut Mind Milk:

Make 1 quart of herbal tea infusion using:

  • 2T gotu kola
  • 2T ginkgo
  • 2T nettle

Strain after 20 minutes and add the following in a Vitamix or other high speed blender:
  • 1/2C soaked hazelnuts (strained)
  • 2t lavender
  • 1/4t lemon balm, or 1t fresh chopped
  • 1/4t anise seed
  • pinch of nutmeg
  • 1/4t coriander
  • pinch of sea salt
  • 1T yacon root syrup

  • Blend until smooth. Strain through a fine mesh colander or nut milk bag.
  • Store your milk in the fridge.
  • Will last for up to a 5 days or more.

Jasmine Chai Spirit Milk:

Make 1 quart of herbal tea decoction using:

  • 2T sassafras
  • 2T star anise
  • 1T fo-ti root or several pieces
  • 2T asparagus root or several pieces
  • 8 jujubee dates
  • 1t orange peel

Strain after 20 minutes and add the following in a Vitamix or other high speed blender:

  • 1/2C pecans
  • 1T jasmine flower
  • 1/4t anise seed
  • 1/2t cinnamon
  • 1/8t clove
  • pinch of cayenne
  • pinch of sea salt
  • 1T agave nectar
    1. Blend until smooth. Strain through a fine mesh colander or nut milk bag.
    2. Store your milk in the fridge.
    3. Will last for up to a 5 days or more.

    Nut milk recipes are easy once you get into the habit of prepping your Chinese herbs and tonic tea before hand. They will be ready and cool by the time you are ready to add your herbs and spices.

    The best part is, once you have your quart of nut milk made, you can continue to enrich it by "superfooding it up" even more.

    Create a shake elixir at this point and blend in any of the powdered Ayurvedic herbs and top 10 superfoods. We like to drink our nut milks and shake elixirs for our first meal of the day after a great workout when your body will just suck up all the great nutrition!
