Superfood Shake Recipe

A Spiced Herbal Elixir

Here's our loved superfood shake recipe that brings together the amazing taste sensations of rich nut milk, delicately spiced in a base of Ayurvedic and Chinese tonic herbs.

This wonderful "mylk" is then blended together with our superfood favorites for a delicious drink that will sustain you for many hours at peak energy performance. Experience for yourself!

All of our shake elixirs are achieved in 3 steps:

  1. Making the herbal tea.
  2. Making the nut milk from tea base.
  3. Blending the superfoods to milk.

Superfood Shake:

  • 1 quart herbal tea (strained and cooled) *see herbal tea recipes*
  • nut milk - blend 1 quart of herbal tea with the following ingredients:

  • 1/2C brazil nuts
  • 1t fennel seed
  • 1/4t coriander
  • 1/4t cardamom
  • 1/8t ginger
  • piece of vanilla bean

Blend in Vitamix or other blender until smooth. Strain through a fine mesh colander or nut milk bag.

  • Pour nut milk liquid into blender and add:

  • 1T goji berry
  • 1T cacao beans
  • 1T raw carob powder
  • 1t bee pollen
  • 1t mesquite powder
  • 4 caps cordycep powder
  • 1T maca root powder
  • 3T hemp seed
  • 1/8t stevia powder
  • 2T coconut oil
  • small piece of cacao butter
  • 1T agave nectar
  • pinch of celtic sea salt
  • 2T irish moss
  • Blend until smooth and enjoy!!



    Irish moss is a seaweed and is a common in many foods as a primary source of carrageenan. It provide thickness and nutrition to drinks yet also time releases them into the body to keep energy levels high for long periods of time. For recipe see Irish moss.

    Soak 1C in 1 quart water, blend until smooth, and store in fridge for months until needed. This protein shake recipe is a great way to get everything in one package!

    You can experiment with different herbs and spices, nuts and seeds, medicinal mushrooms and top superfoods to give you the best possible drink that meets above and beyond nutrition, sustains energy and satisfies the senses!
