Many years of research, study, experimentation and life experience have paved this road, our journey, to the ultimate diet that continues to literally feed our passions and love for life!

I am Shira Locarni and it is my sincere pleasure to offer this up-to-date approach to superfood nutrition for the highest states of health that are YOUR birthright.

My Story

Like most, my beginnings were motivated from my own sickness and disease that began as a child. I can honestly say that I feel WAY MORE younger and youthful today than I did in my earlier years of life.

Constant sickness, chronic allergies and depression in my childhood lead me to receive my first grey hair at age 16 and more throughout adolescence. Over time, as a young adult, my nervous system became over-stimulated by coffee and denatured lifeless food choices.

At the age of 21 I had a Grand-mal seizure!!!!!!

There was no found "cause" of this seizure by the medical profession. It went undiagnosed as "something that just happens sometimes."(??)

I knew inside that it was my lifestyle habits and deep state of malnutrition that helped to create a complete nervous system breakdown. It was a blessing in disguise and totally turned my life around!

My body was giving me signs and this wake up call lead me to re-educate myself about health and peel away the lies I had been conditioned to believe were truth.

About Us:

My husband, Ken, and I are huge supporters of exercise in the great outdoors! We love to travel and explore diverse nature terrains, hot springs, rivers, deserts and mountaintops. We are always discovering new ways to eat and drink all our superfood favorites on our incredible adventures.

I can't say no to parking our nomadic home by an ocean view and setting the table for a gourmet raw food meal ...there is nothing quite like the combination! Or coming back from a morning hike to the smell of tonic herbs brewing ready to be blended into a super duper drink to fuel another amazing day!

In addition to sharing a great LOVE for the wilderness at it's finest, we each have our own unique talents and interests that have merged together to create this very profound way of eating and being in the world!

Shira is a Certified Herbalist graduating from the Evergreen School of Integrative Herbology, Dry Creek Herb Farm and has a extensive background in Chinese, Ayurvedic and Western herbology. She is a Lifestyle Consultant, Superfoods Coach, Certified Acupressurist, and independent researcher. Her special interests include wild edible plant identification and wildcrafting as well as a great love for fresh seaweed harvesting on the Northern California coast.

Ken, aside from being a multi-media artist and poet, is sprout master extraordinaire, previously owning his own sprout business (Urban Organix) in Davis, Ca. In addition, he takes great pride in his raw culinary skills as well as his expertise in making the most delicious homemade tempeh in the world.

Our Creed:

~We believe that "heaven" is a physical state of well-being, rather than an imaginary future attainment. It is our vision to truly create "heaven on earth", and paradise for all...in this Life. We feel our connection to infinite universal source energy IS the Heaven we seek!
