Superhealthy Raw Soups!



Try our raw soup recipes that blend your favorite green leafy vegetable or nuts and seeds into one delicious bowl of nutrient dense, enzyme rich soup. We love the ease and immediacy of raw soups and we think you will too.

Why cook out the vitamins when you can eat your soup raw? Enjoy it in the summer or warm it up a bit in winter with some spicy veggies and heating spices. You can also just pop it in the dehydrator or heat it slightly at low temp's to preserve nutritional quality.

Using Super Herbs In Raw Soup!

Raw soups are a great way to get nutritious seaweeds and mineral rich herbs into your meal. This is the perfect opportunity to blend in a little herbal tea alchemy in with your raw soup recipe.

All of our soups start out as a liquid herbal tea and we build them up from there. Teas are like a version of concentrated soup stock, but are packed with vitamins and minerals to get you superhealthy! I tend to use mostly nutritive herbal tea blends when making raw soup, but you can also use Chinese tonics for a hardy winter version.

Yes, I realize that herbal teas are not exactly "raw". Essentially, our definition of a "raw soup" is a soup that maintains the highest nutritional integrity by preserving all raw enzymes and minerals. Herbs, however, need to be infused or decocted to pull out there medicinal value.

Blending up your herbal teas, raw superfoods and veggies is like the same concept behind a smoothie or shake recipe. You want lots of the good stuff blended up into an easy-to-digest meal.

Come and experience some eclectic collaborations on your old time favorite soup recipes. They are even yummier and more vibrant than your senses can handle in one delicious bowl of soup.

Raw Soup Recipes:

Creamy Hemp Chowder Soup

  • 1/2C hemp seed
  • 1/4 cashews
  • 1T coconut oil
  • 1/2 cl garlic
  • 1T lemon
  • 1/8t celery seed
  • 1/4t sea salt
  • 1t thyme
  • 1/8t black pepper
  • 1C nutritive herbal tea
  • 1/2t kelp powder

  1. Place all ingredients in a Blendtec blender.
  2. Blend until creamy smooth.
  3. Stir in the ingredients below.

Makes 2 small bowls

Serve with dehydrated squash chips.

You will love the creamy chowder like texture and amazing taste of this wonderful soup. Hemp seed gives it some extra protein, as well as great EFA's and other nutrients.

Delicious on a wintery day, sometimes we put it in our dehydrator for 20 minutes or so to warm it up.

Raw Vegetable Soup

  • 1/2C dino kale
  • 1/4c chopped fennel bulb/stalk
  • 7 yellow cherry tomatoes
  • 1/2C lemon cucumber
  • 1/2C yellow zucchini
  • 1/2 stalk celery
  • 1/2C cauliflower
  • 1/2 clove garlic
  • inch of carrot
  • 1t cumin
  • 1t turmeric
  • 1t homemade garbanzo bean miso
  • 1t kelp powder
  • spring cilantro
  • 1/8t celery seed
  • 3/4C nutritive herbal tea
  • Top with kale chips.
